The Kanata Knights Cheerleading Program is a co-ed
program, open to guys and girls from ages 8-19. Its
a fun way to get out, get in shape and to meet new people!
Knights Cheerleading is divided into three squads:
- Junior (ages 8-12)
- Intermediate (13-15)
- Senior (16-18).
Each squad cheers for a different football team.
We work on fitness, strength, flexibility, rhythm, dance,
stunts and of course, cheers.
We practice hard, play hard, and reinforce the Club's
values.
The Kanata Knights Cheerleaders are a vital part
of our Football Club. The efforts of the ladies
never go unnoticed - they make our Club the envy of
NCAFA. |

Why Cheerleading and How do I get involved?
Cheerleading is simply a great way to get out and
meet people in the Community. Kanata Knights'
youth programs are designed around building essential
life skills of the individual in a team environment
- through the sport of football. Our Cheerleading
Program helps to build character and self esteem while
promoting fitness, strength, flexibility, teamwork and
coordination through dance moves.
It's a fun way to get in shape and to put a smile
on your face!
